DISTANCE SALES AGREEMENT

This Distance Sales Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to the purchase of professional educational and training services offered through the Structural Heart Academy website.

ARTICLE 2 – SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT

The subject of this Agreement is the purchase of participation in a specified professional education or training program offered by SH Academy.

The service may consist of:

  • Professional courses;

  • Workshops;

  • Masterclasses;

  • Webinars;

  • Educational conferences;

  • Case-based educational sessions;

  • Educational simulation and skills-development activities;

  • Other professional training programs described on the relevant program page.

The exact service purchased is identified on the relevant program registration page and confirmation.

ARTICLE 3 – EDUCATIONAL NATURE OF THE SERVICE

The purchased service is a professional education and training service.

SH Academy does not provide patient-facing healthcare, diagnosis or treatment through the purchased service.

Any simulation or hands-on activity is conducted solely for educational and professional skills-development purposes.

No medicines or medical devices are sold through the website.

ARTICLE 4 – PARTICIPANT

The participant is the person or organization identified during registration.

The participant is responsible for providing complete and accurate registration information.

Where a program is restricted to healthcare professionals or a specific professional group, the participant must satisfy the stated eligibility criteria.

ARTICLE 5 – SERVICE DETAILS

The following information is provided before payment:

  • Program name;

  • Date and duration;

  • Location or online delivery method;

  • Educational scope;

  • Participation fee;

  • Applicable VAT;

  • Cancellation and refund conditions;

  • Any relevant participation requirements.

The order confirmation sent after successful registration forms part of the contractual documentation.

ARTICLE 6 – PRICE AND PAYMENT

The total price payable by the participant is displayed before completion of the payment.

Unless otherwise stated, displayed prices include applicable VAT.

Payment may be made through the payment methods made available on the website.

Payment processing may be performed by an authorized payment service provider.

ARTICLE 7 – CONTRACT FORMATION

The Agreement is formed when the participant completes the registration and payment process and SH Academy confirms the registration.

Following successful payment, an electronic confirmation may be sent to the email address provided during registration.

ARTICLE 8 – DELIVERY / PERFORMANCE OF SERVICE

The service is fulfilled through the participant's access to and participation in the relevant educational program.

For face-to-face programs, the service is performed at the location stated on the program page.

For online programs, the service is performed through the relevant online platform.

No physical goods are shipped as part of the educational service.

ARTICLE 9 – CANCELLATION AND REFUND

Cancellation and refund rights are governed by the Cancellation, Refund & Delivery Policy published on the website and applicable mandatory legislation.

Where the relevant statutory right of withdrawal applies, it will be respected in accordance with applicable legislation.

Where a statutory exception applies, the applicable exception will be communicated in accordance with the law.

ARTICLE 10 – CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM

SH Academy may make reasonable changes to faculty, schedule, educational content or venue where circumstances require.

If a material change prevents the participant from receiving the purchased service, SH Academy will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and the applicable program policy.

ARTICLE 11 – PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES

Participants are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information;

  • Following program rules;

  • Respecting faculty, staff and other participants;

  • Not recording or distributing educational materials without authorization;

  • Not sharing confidential or patient-identifiable information during educational activities.

ARTICLE 12 – COMPLAINTS

Questions or complaints concerning a purchased service may be submitted to: info@structuralheartacademy.com

SH Academy will review complaints and respond within a reasonable period.

Eligible consumers retain any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer legislation.

ARTICLE 13 – ELECTRONIC RECORDS

SH Academy may retain registration, payment, communication and contractual records for the periods required by applicable law and legitimate business requirements.

ARTICLE 14 – GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

Mandatory consumer protection rights applicable to eligible consumers remain unaffected.

ARTICLE 15 – ACCEPTANCE

Before completing payment, the purchaser is provided with access to the relevant contractual terms and policies.

By completing the registration and payment process, the purchaser confirms that they have reviewed the applicable information and terms.
